Strategirummet has developed a tool where you can gain experience in registering for the different markets for ancillary services. Users choose the technologies they want to register for.

First, a preliminary plan for registering for the spot market is prepared, based on a known forecast for the following day's electricity prices. Then the bidding process start, where we take the different types of ancillary services one at a time. Participants bid a quantity and a price. The administrator then clears the market, and the participants can see if they have won the bids. The final registration for the spot market is about ensuring that you can comply with the restrictions imposed by sales on the different ancillary services markets. Then you bid for the regulating power market. Finally, each participant can see how much you have earned by selling ancillary services.
